When we were on our honeymoon, Jason got very sick on the second day. To make a long story short we had to take him by ambulance to the emergency room. He hadn't started work down here yet, so he had no insurance. We all know that ambulance rides and emergency room visits mean BIG money, money that most of us don't have.
Anyway, we were taking our honeymoon in Gatlinburg, TN and had rented a mountain chalet for a week. Before the wedding, when Jason was filling out the paperwork online, he saw where you could purchase insurance for $35 that would reimburse you if you couldn't make it or if something to you happened along the way. As a precaution, he purchased it. (I believe that was God's directing)
When we finally got to Gatlinburg, Jason explained our situation to the rental company and they gave him a claim to fill out and send to the insurance company. When we were reading over it, we saw where it said that we could be reimbursed for the days that we missed at the chalet, reimbursed for the extra days that we had to spend at the hotel when he couldn't travel, and be reimbursed for hospital expenses incurred up to $2000. We prayed that this would apply to our situation and sent in the papers. We found out on Friday, that our situation did qualify and we got our reimbursement check in the mail on Monday!! God answers prayer!!

It's wonderful to see when "our" kids put into practice what they have been taught all of their lives and it brings miracles down to modern day living! It's not just the "good old days" that we see miracles in!
